Employee Spotlight: Chloe Bowman

Chloe joined the Montanya team this summer as our JEDI (Justice, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Coordinator. It is no exaggeration to say that she is a bright light of positivity and sunshine every time she’s in the office. Chloe is helping us develop and implement diversity initiatives in the company and in our community, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of the Montanya crew.

Finding Crested Butte

I’m originally from Colorado Springs (born there) but I’m of African descent (Ghana, West Africa). I moved to Gunnison in 2012 at random for college and fell in love with the valley and the people and the constant challenges that come with living here… I considered it a coming of age change and I relished the opportunity to take on this new lifestyle.

Baby Whisperer

I’m also early childhood educator. People jokingly call me a baby whisperer because I have a HUGE love for infants and toddlers and supporting how they develop and grow.

On Finding Her Way to Montanya

I’m so moved and so excited to say that I’m a part of such a powerful company. I get to work alongside my friends (new and old) in a place that is cognizant of all of the hearts and minds here. I feel so lucky.

Favorite Montanya Cocktail

The boss colada (I like the modern twist to a classic cocktail).
