About Us
We are a certified B Corp and Best for the World company building an international rum company to be a force for good. Our aim is to put people, the environment and social responsibility on equal footing with growth and profit. We are committed to pioneering new models of environmental sustainability within the world of distilling, empowering women and people of color, and adding full time employment with benefits to our rural community.
We hire for three main departments:
Distilling and Bottling - Montanya makes premium, all-American, barrel-aged rums with no added sugar and nothing artificial. We currently distribute to 44 states as well as the UK/EU.
Tasting Room - Our Elk Avenue Tasting Room in Crested Butte is a high-end cocktail bar where we celebrate bartending as an art form and showcase the incredible range of artisan cocktails that can be made with rum.
Business Administration and Sales - A close knit team works together to grow distribution, promote and market our rums, and run the business behind the scenes, from HR to payment processing.
The majority of our positions are full time with benefits, including subsidized health, dental, vision and supplemental insurance, life insurance, short and long term disability insurance, ski pass, compensatory time, two to three weeks of paid time off depending on the position, sick time and 10 paid holidays. (Benefits package value is $10,800/year.) We do on occasion have a need for part-time help in the Tasting Room and in the bottling department.
