Our Distillery is in a different location than our cocktail bar!

Come see where the magic happens…

Visit our newly expanded distillery in Crested Butte, Colorado where we offer facility tours and guided tastings of our rums. We offer two different tours (our regular tour/tasting, and our connoisseur tour for those desiring a more in depth experience) where you will get a close look at fermentation vessels, wash tank, and our custom copper pot still. You'll also learn about the history of Montanya and how we craft delicious high mountain rum. We also have a rum bar downtown (2 miles away from the distillery tour) that offers delicious cocktails and bar food. We look forward to welcoming you! 

Our distillery is located just 10 minutes outside of Crested Butte in the Riverland Industrial Park at 398 Riverland Drive.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our distillery is at a different location than our cocktail bar! It is located at 398 Riverland Dr. in Riverland Industrial Park, just 10 minutes outside of Crested Butte. Turn by Waste Management. Once turned, take the first right.

  • Yes! We sell our bottles and some of our merchandise at our distillery. For a larger selection of merchandise, please visit our cocktail bar at 204 Elk Ave in Crested Butte.

  • Yes! You can enjoy a tasting led by one of our distillers at the end of the tour in the distillery.

  • We don’t offer cocktails at the tour, but please feel free to visit our cocktail bar at 204 Elk Ave in downtown Crested Butte to try our delicious cocktail and appetizers. Reservations are recommended. Book online.

  • Nose into the front of the building in front of units C or D.

  • If it’s snowing, we highly suggest you arrive at our distillery in a 4-wheel drive vehicle. We have a large parking lot that can be hard to navigate in a 2-wheel drive vehicle and you may get stuck.
