In April of 2020, we were fortunate to welcome Rob Richardson as Montanya’s National Director of Sales. It’s a new position for us, and is he ever making a difference! Rob manages wholesale and retail for our rums, which includes calling on key accounts, and managing US pricing, distributor programs, and wholesale inventory. We can already tell that his experience and hard work will be key in helping us with our #1 goal: expand distribution and make our rums easier to find. Not to mention, he brings so much enthusiasm and positivity to the job. We love having him on board! Meet Rob:

Denver, Colorado is my home. Born and raised. I can’t get too far from the mountains. They are my inspiration every day.

Finding Montanya

Karen and I met 12 years ago to discuss RNDC (Republic National Distributing Company) distributing Montanya. I was very impressed with the brand and our business relationship started. This soon blossomed into a great friendship as well as a great working environment.

What Inspires Rob Most

My wonderful husband, Joe, and our two kids, Tyler and Cassidy. And just recently our new grandson, Sam. Everyday they inspire me to be the best person I can be.

A Second Home

I do like to travel the world. I have been on every continent in the world but one. Australia is the only one that has escaped me so far. I plan to get there in my lifetime. My second home is Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I love this sleepy laid back town. Its artist community plus culinary cuisine laced with fantastic sunsets and sun drenched beach days is one of my favorite pastimes.
